Just a little chill in the air and I start pulling out the ‘big pots’. And they stay filled with everything from chili to stew to beans to greens. Being able to throw it all in and let it go gives a lot of satisfaction when fall finally arrives.

What do you call these fried potatoes? I always just called them homemade potato chips. I’ve recently discovered they’re also called raw fries, wing chips and sometimes even cottage fries. But I’ve now decided to call them BETTER THAN ANYTHING IN A BAG.
World Tour Day One Tattie Scones
I’ve been on a little bit of a cooking world tour lately. Kind of like my rockin’ Rock Band 2 band, Crash Warning, with whom I’ve been traveling around the world on tour this weekend (I’m just a little bit addicted to this game, okay maybe a lot). What’s The Dill Potatoes
I have often wondered what the deal is with going into a store looking for some help, only to find that all the employees of said store have gone to lunch/gone on break/mysteriously disappeared/were never there in the first place. Recently I went to a major home improvement store to buy some light fixtures. After a long dialogue with myself and my daughter about which fixtures to buy and a lot of putting things in and taking them out of my cart, I finally made a decision.
